The cost of using Wallet of Satoshi is the balance you keep on there. I actually look forward to the rugging. There are way too many Bitcoiners totally comfortable with the WoS situation.

You are shaming people who use it while using it yourself. That is hypocritical.
I’m not shaming anyone who is using it. I am shaming those who use it as their only Lightning wallet. It is a tool. That is not how many Bitcoiners treat it.
You assume that is the case. Maybe you’re right. Maybe they understand it fully and they’re simply ok with the level of risk they’re taking, just as you are. Why shame anyone? Why not simply educate? It’s a tool as you say; teach people to use the tool appropriately.
I agree with you. We should be educating and explaining it as a tool. There are many Bitcoiners that don’t share this view and are totally ok with WoS being THE lightning wallet they use and get people onboarded to without understanding the risks.

Yes. And agreed that will solve a lot of the issues. Still trade offs though. Personally, I just accept that one day I will lose 10k sats and that works for me.

Will probably just send them to people on here rather than eating the costs to move them. 10k max is the play. Thats what I had done for the longest time but once I got the zap feature back on Damus I got a little carried away lol
