I don't like the idea of how much farm land is being used to produce alcohol instead of an amazing biodiversity of animals & food crops.

Yet, you never hear a liberal or conservative discussing this issue.

You can but it wouldn't be mead, technically anyway.

Meadmaking has gone well for me. Better than winemaking. I've also made small beers with a sourdough starter that have turned out delicious.
