Am I weird or does anyone else really enjoy instant coffee with evaporated milk?

I can't remember the last time I've drank instant. I do have a sealed jar in the cupboard just in case.

Yep, I drank enough instant while serving in the Army I care not to do it. BTW, one time I heated water using dried camel dung and the cardboard from my MRE to get my fix. We were somewhere in Saudi Arabia circa 1990
Hahahaha! I did the same thing! SSgt Ness and I would go around collecting all the MRE coffee from the kids who didn't drink it. Ghastly stuff but effective.
do you have an recommends for a ‘really good’ instant?
I don't know if it's "really good" but we use this to make what we call a CFD. Coffee Flavored Drink. A spoon of "coffee" with two spoons of powdered creamer and two sugar cubes. Twist it all up in little dime bags and it makes a good backpacking coffee. Boil a little water in your cup, dump the baggie in, and enjoy your morning CFD. It tastes better when you're in the woods.
