Really good question, Mel. For me being a Bitcoiner means appreciating the PoW principle also in real life. Being trustworthy, honest, verifiable a good person. Having good values and a growth mindset which is about learning and helping others.

Yeah, I agree with you at the beginning. I mean, it sure made me open my eyes. I’ve seen really bad behavior in the space and I find it curious that when it happens, it kind of gets pushed under the rug.
What’s the difference to you?
Bitcoin to me is an idea. You can't kill idea's. It is sovereignty. Anyone can just issue a currency so long as they bring it value. Every community should have it's own bitcoin, razor clam shell, or even beaver pelts. Imagine the things that could be done in your own community if your whole community adopted even a shitcoin as a valuable commodity that you accept in exchange for your energy?
Adopt a coin in your community. ANY Coin. Buy it and exchange it for labor!

Oh how is Beaver pelt not the same idea as bitcoin? Some guy we don't even know made bitcoin to free our minds. We do Satoshi a disservice if we don't learn from him.
Well, we don’t do that anymore and Bitcoin has a Proof of work element already built into it so why would we have to go back to that kind of thing?
Because we need things.. a real economy. Proof of work does not make soap or washing machines. Humans do. If we dont make them then we at least need them.
Bitcoin is money It’s money that can’t be printed more of. It’s backed by Proof of work. We can always have more beaver pelts. We can always grow more beavers, but you can’t grow more Bitcoin and that’s the difference.
Then how do you propose my local government build a bridge with bitcoin that it doesn't have?
Well, it would cost quite a bit to start something new when you can just use bitcoin you don’t have to buy a whole Bitcoin at a time you just can buy as much as you can afford and it works
