Nostr Web Client

I really wish BitcoinCore had a mobile UI instead of a desktop one. I think that would have massively changed the way the software is built, the way it communicates with other apps and the minimum requirements to sync the chain. Plus being default on mobile means that anyone could get a first class experience, not only desktop users (which are very very few of us).

Yep, some similarity there. The core app block status was designed before the timechain calendar, maybe they took some inspiration. But then again, who really cares. Main thing is that we have some badass software.

I appreciate what you guys are doing and if it is ever implemented I would be interested to help. What’s important is Bitcoin is seen. TC live on web since ‘22 and my new mobile app is in review being tested. We are all on the mission.

The Bitcoin Core App is making progress. The block status has been implemented for the most part and the basic wallet features are there as well. Currently, the dev team is sorting out some stuff around code organization and build system - basically how this new application code fits in with the rest of Bitcoin Core code. And then afterwards we'll get back to UI implementation. Fingers crossed we can get a public release within a year or so, once the implementation has reached feature parity with the current QT GUI. It's a big, big project.
