Well, I made Trainstr, a new npub dedicated to European train travel. If you're into this niche, there's a good chance you may find it useful, even interesting. I will probably post twice a week or so, presenting more or less fantastic routes, giving advice for the best ways to get from A to B, prices, promotions, tips, etc. Mostly family-oriented travels, but also solutions for lone wolves.

Growing Nostr my own way, but I still have to ask the community for a boost because we're the algo.

Autists love trains. This is a slam dunk

Yeah, steam engines from the US. 😂

Can confirm, got a little hard when I read "train."

Why limit it to Europe? There's a train line that goes from Egypt to South Africa that I'd love to ride. And that track the POWs in ww2 built in South Asia - seen it but didn't ride it, and I regret that.

He's based in Austria and this would be documenting or at least sharing insights he has from his most frequent routes, I gathered. Seems to travel all about by train a lot too, so should be fun to see even for someone in the states

Reviews you can find everywhere, from people with pro camera skills and whatnot. It's us, with kids, that nobody cares about, and I'm looking to address that. Plus, I can travel only during school breaks, and I'll keep it somewhat close to home.

Hey man don't knock the 611 she's beautiful for her age!

Doesn't everybody?

Amazing!! I never did it, but I’m planning to do next year 😁

What, the trip to Menton?
