It depends on what you want it to be. I think it's a cesspool of the worst humanity has to offer, that should be burned to the ground, but because of my perspective. Others may see it as an embodiment of all their wildest dreams. So, it really depends on what your idea of better looks like.

It has more bots than ever. Every single post has a billion comments from investments scammers, I don't know how anyone can still use Twitter in 2025.

I knew a guy who had voices in his head all the time, it was awful, I hope you get well.

From the folks I know who are on Deadbird, there is noticeably less censoring of extreme opinion. No experience of my own.

IMHO it could just be the Hawthorne effect(?). Folks think there's someone watching so they self-censor, and in reverse.

Not from what I've heard. Wasn't long ago that Scott Horton got suspended. Seems like most things are permissable as long are they aren't antiwar. That's all whatever though. I think the central premise is flawed so it's a non-issue if it's better
