I’ll bring the unpopular take and say no, definitely not. It basically all takes place in a single room which is clearly a cubic studio set and is in no way immersive. If you want a great sci-fi watch, check out Foundation on Apple TV

Hmm, I didn't like the Apple Foundation much, though the Empire character was great and some of the episodes were really good...some.

Yeah I totally agree with that. The genetic dynasty aspect is really fascinating but parts of the show went a bit too β€œhigh art” and should have focused on just being generally enjoyable instead

I found the (girl) math prodigy line very unconvincing/fake. Not in the concept, but the way it was written and performed. It put me off.

That's what I was thinking at the time I watched it.

That’s a great observation. Come to think of it, I didn’t really enjoy her character.
