Plenty of western democracies have less than 30% turnout already and nothing ever happens.

Politicians will still think they have a moral legitimacy to rule over others and that "silent is consent" 🤡

The only case I know of with 30% is Venezuela.

I was thinking of EU parliament turnout. Everyone brushes it off as "not the main national elections" but the EU plays an ever growing part in the lives of europeans.

EU is not even a democracy anymore.

It's a blop representing no one else besides themselves.
