Nah. Both suck.

Strike was good a year ago or so.

Strike went down? ๐Ÿ˜…

Yea but nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle is a cool dude and Brian Armstrong is a shit bag. Probably why.

Remember when jack said zero fees race to the bottom checkmate and then strike raised fees? Pepperidge Farms remembers

Fees are still pretty low. Iโ€™d much rather they raise fees than go out of business.

Spread has tightened significantly as well, down to basically 10bips from what I see most of the time, vs the old 80-90bip average spread with no fees, the so the lowest tier has increased by 10-20bips but the middle tiers are essentially unchanged or even better priced than previous, with the whale buyers getting a discount to the old spread model.

Sure, but let's be equally critical of strike going back on its word about zero fees as we are of Coinbase for going back on its word about implementing lightning

If you experienced strikeโ€™s downtime, send them a DM with your strike username, and they might show you some customer appreciation with a few sats!
