Politicians wonβt save us.
Government isn't going away, sorry.
Politicians run the government.
You can choose not to participate in the selection process of these politicians, but you don't get to opt out of all the changes those politicians make to our nation's laws.
By not getting involved you only disenfranchise yourself.
The more people opt out and disobey unjust law the less power they will have.
Arguing about which color of fascism you want isnβt going to improve your life.
When you vote, the government always wins and politicians are specialized Wall Street staff
If you think we can vote our way out of a banking cartel that holds 90% of government policies hostage and literally owns the government in the same way advertisers own situation comedies you may be delusional
We need more "outsiders" like Milei and Robert Kennedy
I would love to have a 3rd party candidate win, and RFK, Jr. is really good on several subjects of which Biden and Trump are bad to terrible. I just can't get past him pushing abortions and wanting to give lots of personal handouts of other people's money to those "in need". I think he is an honorable man, but I just can't get past his stance on those 2 issues.
The path I see is that even if he doesn't win, he will set some impressive records as an independent. What you will see going forward is a lot more independent candidates running in a lot more races, and that will be good for politics in America. So supporting Kennedy right now is a win/win IMO.
Even though I don't want him to win (I also don't want any of the available candidates), I was considering voting for him in the primary because I know my state will go heavily for Trump. My vote won't make a difference.
I've done that for a while. I really want 3rd party candidates to get at least double digit vote percentages and the closer to the two parties, the better. If we can get a 3rd party candidate close enough to the 2 parties, then maybe people will actually vote 3rd party and not use the excuse that they don't want to waste their vote.
My state votes Republican by a 30% margin no matter who the candidate is. I'm all in for Kennedy over Trump or Biden though.
