These poorly researched, biased and inaccurate news stories have led to more harassment towards our community and team.

The only downside I've encountered to running GrapheneOS so far is that I can't switch to it out of spite to this latest attack against the mere idea that citizens deserve privacy.
If privacy is a crime, I am one of the biggest criminals in my country đź—ż
Every privacy or encryption focused platform eventually gets accused of some form of crime or wrongthink because, by design, any platform that enables privacy
1) DOES help actual criminals. But that’s really only the excuse to shut down number 2
2) enables “wrong thinkers” to organize without fear of retribution

They're going through the five stages of grief. Same as they did with BTC. After shaming it, fighting it, denying it, despairing it - they give in, accept it, adopt it.
They hate you, because you are not the obedient drone.
Graphene is awesome. The attacks are an acknowledgment that the state is realizing the potential threat it poses to mass surveillance and psyop factories
GrapheneOS is a great OS if you happen to have a pixel. But some of those in power within media organizations and rulers don't like the fact those that are tech savvy can be unleashed and keep their privacy.
