I want to use #Keet, but for some of us, not being fully open source is a problem.

Keet have explained their thinking, but there's a reason the most secure and trusted code is OS.

I've noted the absence of Matt Odell mentioning or enthusing for Keet beyond its initial launch announcement, which I take as a sign he may have concerns.

It’s going to be open source when it leaves beta. You can just wait if you don’t trust them. But literally everything around it has now been open sourced and the protocol behind it has been the whole time. I see no reason to think they are being malicious or dishonest about it. I’ve been working with the guys for over a year.
