Payjoin is not a replacement for other privacy tools including coinjoin. They can be used together.
My understanding is that PayJoin is a better default option, not a replacement for CoinJoin

I doubt it, I suspect we will discuss recent bitcoin privacy tech improvements and cutting edge research in that space without comparing LN privacy to monero. I don't plan to bring up monero and I doubt Seth does either, though I suppose it could happen if Wirdum or Spacebear want to provoke a bit of drama.
