Do you think Bitcoin adoption is a given, & that "we've already won?"
Discussion
I think as long as people keep building the layers and apps it will be given. But it will require work.
NO. Wins require constant defense. There is always someone or something competing for 1st place.
No. It's not a given. Let alone, the entropy leads to decay, and there is always an adversary that wants to control and exploit this.
For same reasons as "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
There is no rest for the weary. Must continually build, improve, look out for each other, and avoid complacency while doing our best to support mental, physical and emotional well being and seek and follow purpose.
I don't.
Optimism is good, but I personally think that the regulatory landscape (really the only ting the government can do) Is gonna get way worse.
I don't know what form regulation will come in and I hope it doesn't lead to raids of node runners / miners houses and large-scale shut downs of Bitcoin based companys.
If the goal really is to separate money and state its not gonna be pretty and goverments who don't want to allow BTC to be used will fight tooth and nail to keep power and relevance.
I might be overly pessimistic but that's where my head is at. Especially with a large amount of users relying on custodial bullshit.
Sorry I'm not very eloquent in text.
Central bank collapse is certain so yes.
Yes, I do.
As long as human incentives remain what they are, its inevitability runs parallel with the resiliency of the modern world.
The thing is, inevitable doesn't mean easy or quick. If this takes the path of greatest pain, it could be decades longer than conservative estimates to get there to a Bitcoin standard.
It could mean a whole lot of dead or incarcerated Bitcoiners during the remainder of the transition.
Of course it is.
By 2030, #Bitcoin will begin the new economy.
