The unfounded “reasons” why #Bitcoin won’t work never end. They usually originate from slobs who have nothing figured out.
Imo Bitcoin is an intellectual #PoW filter that only intelligent / intellectually curious / performant people can get through.
When 5-10% of the world’s top minds truly make it through the #BTC filter the group using this Network will be the most powerful and performant on earth.
My nocoiner friend thinks that if Bitcoin gets too big the governments will just shut down all internet communication to stop it. He doesn't understand that this would be global economic suicide.
I've heard this argument, too. Makes no sense whatsoever. Also, we don't have one world government, so one government might try while another region embraces orange coin. Either way, bitcoin lives forever.

State media will spin it. But other, more free, lanes of information transmission (I.e. nostr) will spread the truth.
