We need to help normies and boomers do two things.

1. Acquire BTC

2. Take self custody of that BTC

This is how we win.

It will never happen because developers don’t want us in the club. Anytime I ask a question it gets ignored or ridiculed.

It is happening, slowly but surely. What questions do you have about BTC and self custody?

followed :-)

Hope to see you there! 🤙

We shouldn't have anyone feel this way. I have seen this happen as well and is likely an understated issue.

You will own Bitcoin at the price you deserve. Read, study and spend the time. Devs that I know are always willing to help but they aren’t there to hold your hand and teach you about life. Do some of your own work and bring questions other than “can you help me now do Bitcoin stuff”? Be better.

And receiving a lot of sats

Can't help people who don't want to help themselves.

Focus on the ones that are open to it. "Boomers" are the least likely to adopt, but are actually the most vulnerable imo.

1% allocation of retirement fund is a great goal to start with.

Once Bitcoin breaks $100,000 we will see the masses actually try to educate themselves further than buying $20 on Coinbase and never touching it again

Those normie boomers being the toughest crowd.

Helped my buddy purchase his first 500,000 satoshis last night on Cash App…next lesson is showing him how to move it to Muun wallet then eventually a hardware wallet

I’m of the opinion that wallet abstraction is the key to achieve this. Managing a set of keys and seed phrases feels like when people had to custody physical certificates of their securities and cut out coupons for their bonds.

Too much friction and too much risk.

#1 proving way easier than #2

Agree, for now.

The best way I know is just to buy bitcoin right there in front of them, just so they can see / feel the process.

Explaining it / videos / books / antanopulos / saylor / can be a bit hard to process for many (unfortunately).
