The "feathered serpent" deity of the Aztecs called Quetzalcoatl was an enlightened person.

"Quetza" means "to raise".

"Coatl" means "serpent".

Coatzin is a reference to "the venerable serpent".

This is talking about raising the kundalini serpent.

This is what Christ was talking about in Matthew 10:16.

This is why the serpent was present in Genesis 3.

The raising of the serpent is the same thing as being moved by the Holy Spirit. It's the same thing as climbing the Tree of Life, balancing Yin with Yang, etc. Fully raising the serpent is enlightenment.
