Are there any

centralized resources related

to Nostr client relay

I'll peep it. I struggled describing what I meant since there's a developer and user perspective with similar language.

Yeah, I think you understood me. that's a neat resource. Thank you!

website might be a bit more consumable https://nostr.net , also big updates coming very soon

I'm kind of used to git repos, but I can appreciate both! Thanks for the work.

That seems to have some of what I was looking for. Thanks!

I'm still trying to work through my "relay series". If there are specific topics that would be helpful, please feel free to make suggestions. If I'm competent enough to write about it, I will. If it's beyond my scope, I can at least make lists. πŸ˜…

I think it's worthwhile having even basic level config resources for new users. As an example, someone who installs Amethyst and finds that relays need to be configured. Then what? I haven't had much interest in relays until recently. But I'm coming from a user perspective at the moment rather than a developer one. The similar language between the two makes it challenging to ask these sorts of questions.

For example, "relay configuration" or "relay setup" could mean multiple (very different) things.

I'll add that to my to-do list. That's a very good point. I wrote a similar explanation around nip05. Thank you!

And there are multiple perspectives to consider. Nontechnical user, relay operator/manager, relay developer. Possibly others I don't know. All of whom may use similar language to describe different concepts. Just wanted to clarify that's what I mean when I reference difficulty in asking relay related questions.

πŸ’― I'll make reference to that. User level is definitely my aim, but coming across discussions in the wild could easily cloud my explanations.

What education level?

I'm unsure how to answer this. I have a BS in computer science, so I can read detailed technical sources and put them to use, if that's what you mean. Otherwise, I've used Amethyst as a daily driver for some years. Im interested in learning more about relay selection/setups from a user perspective. I'm quite ignorant in that regard (the different relay types, what they do, and how to select the best ones for my needs, etc), if that's what you're asking.

But this may be a good opportunity to test what any random noob user might seek out. I'm open to the lowest level stuff you know of.

spatianostra .com is my project. I didn't want to suggest it if you were looking for technical resources. I think it is one of the lower level collections that exists.

That's perfectly fine. I generally like starting with those resources anyway. Usually saves time if I'm not looking to jump into the deep end for information found in the shallow end.

Speaking of which, Alexandria may soon be Spatianostra compatible πŸ˜„

πŸ«‚ Ah, that would be a perfect fit! It's all exists as nostr events, too. You know that... but for sake of this thread: nostr:nprofile1qqsrcwyu3ax5dj5px9n58glr8nkmr5rpn7rh3mn563ex2a670gh07lcpz4mhxue69uhhyetvv9ujuerpd46hxtnfduhszrnhwden5te0dehhxtnvdakz763s6kv 🫠🀣

Are you pulling notes into the website as posts on the site?

No. I haven't had the best luck with long-form clients, so I write through Ghost first & transpose to Nostr for now. I have spatianostra .npub .pro going and a reduced-to-most-recent version through Oracolo living at spatia-nostra .com if you should want to point people towards the blog-like Nostr native versions.
