Shit, I'm going to have to buy a new gaming PC. I replayed Halo recently on my OG Xbox and was amazed at how well it held up after 25 years.

Xemu or Xenia can even upscale the game at better resolutions than OG, playing hitman absolution this way
Just realized halo came out on PC and would better run natively 🤣
The Xbox version was superior. Lots of stuff was not as good in the PC version, missing shaders and worse lighting, etc. Halo 1 & 2 run really well on xemu, there is even an Xbox Live replacement for Halo 2 MP. I've taken advantage 😂
Not including the recent MC collection, of course.
I just sent this to all my friends
We’re back, baby
Video Games have reached the point where remakes are more interesting than original stuff. It's like Hollywood circa 2005 😂
Is this AI narrated? Wth 🤦♂️
That's the voice of Cortana, the Pillar of Autumn's AI in Halo, yes. It sounds exactly like the original game 😂
Holy fucking shit 💦
Right? It's hard to understand today how amazing that game was when it came out. My Xbox was a Halo machine for a year and a half straight. The story twist in the library. Playing it again a few months back was so good, I hope they don't fuck this up 😂
Get yourself a good GPU and double it up for self hosted AI.
The OG Halo was super fun. It's the only first person shooter I ever fully finished and enjoyed.
One of my roommates from that era is like that. Pretty much plays sports games only to this day, but put in hundreds of hours of Halo 😂
Been jonesing for gaming lately for some reason. Kinda wanna get a console just to mess with in living room. Never played much halo, just 1v1 at friends, always using the claw lol
I might go the cheap route and just get a PS5 👀
Steamdeck you fool!
Does it have halo? Does it have assassins creed?
Honestly don't know. And can it hook to tv and perform same as a full blown console? Not just candy crush or whatever you play
Steamdeck is just a gaming PC in handheld form.
But like you said, portable means likely weaker processing or memory, or at least you implied it I think.
Still unsure if all games are available
It can play most of the stream library, so thousands of games. There are options in that space now too, lots of PC companies have their own versions of the same idea. It's really just a different shape for gaming laptop hardware. If I do go PC I'd likely look towards running SteamOS to avoid having to use Windows anyways. We'll see how finances look, a new PC would be good for AI stuff 🤔
I usually play mine like a console (plugged into tv) and we have a ps5 already, I much prefer the steamdeck
Steamdeck is cool, but it's main feature, portability, would go unused. I almost never used my switch handheld, it was always docked.
So happy with the Xbox series s. Super compact. Doesn’t look like a weird spaceship. Plays a lot of the games I like. I’m very casual these days. Not much time for it
I'm pretty excited about this one. Its taking some flak online for some of its design choices, but its a remake, not a 1:1 upgrade like the anniversary edition. Yeah, the needler redesign is dumb, but I don't have a problem with sprinting in Halo.
People gotta bitch because drama creates engagement. I'm hopeful it will be great.
