If you are homesteading without goats you are missing out.
These girls give us so much joy and they work really hard. Teaching them to walk on the tether is a level up for our evening, chill out paddock walks.

External weed control is a very mysterious and important job (and not just an excuse to explore).
We don't usually find any weeds, but somebody has to keep an eye out.

So I had this on mute and didn't see the leash and thought this was a drone video. Now I can't help but wonder how goats would react to drones.
We often check on the livestock with the drone. The cows don't care at all, the poultry scatter (which is what we want after losing a duck to an eagle) and the goats can't decide between zoomies and curiosity.
