If everyone just rode donkeys and horses it would be so much greener than using cars, trucks, ships and planes. Heck, let's just throw out all modern innovations and voluntarily live like neanderthals - they only had a lifespan of a few decades (at best) and it was a meager life, but man were they eco-friendly!
