FWIW, I use Coinos with Damus and it works really well. Technically, the zap action hardly ever fails (it’s just fulfilled in the background). Then, when I go to check my transaction history in Coinos from time to time, I would see all the 7 sat zaps there.

I changed from nostr:npub1kvaln6tm0re4d99q9e4ma788wpvnw0jzkz595cljtfgwhldd75xsj9tkzv to nostr:npub1h2qfjpnxau9k7ja9qkf50043xfpfy8j5v60xsqryef64y44puwnq28w8ch, but it would seem it's nostr:npub12vkcxr0luzwp8e673v29eqjhrr7p9vqq8asav85swaepclllj09sylpugg eating up my zaps.
it almost seems like the client needs to upgrade their developers team!
I am paying a monthly fee. not being able to zap and losing zaps cos someone can't zap me consistently and I can't zap consistently on random basis is just not cool...
just zapped nostr:npub13ecswm7yn78w7rndgaw9rumatqgkqyu3920t09h5v2r7h6f90d6sea34lt then I couldn't zap her. NOT COOL.

minibits & cashu.me have given me a lot of failed zaps recently with Amethyst, so i've pretty much stopped zapping 😕
I’ve found Coinos and Alby to be the most reliable for NWC. I think it’s because they have a dedicated relay that listens for these zap requests.
This is how it looks in Damus. Not sure about Amethyst but maybe the same thing is achieved by adding it to your list of relays?

Thank you, but I don't have a problem with Amethyst darling. Find a solution of primal.
Go to lnwallet.app and click Create Wallet. Then click the Open in Damus/Amethyst/Primal button. Select Primal. Done. You'll now be able to zap from Primal. You can copy the lightning address to your profile to receive zaps.
You can even use the wallet with AlbyGo. Click the Copy button and paste into AlbyGo is all you need to do.
NOOOOOO. I am not switching to another wallet. Primal doesn't seem to care what wallet it is. It's just not working consistently. And I have never heard of your wallet.
Help me understand…are you essentially just using the “friends and fam” feature of nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm ?
What LSP is hosting the lightning channel? Also seems this is a custodial solution as I don’t see where to obtain my lightning private key a la YakiHonne whom has also partnered with Alby to integrate an in client wallet.
Lastly, why wouldn’t I just onboard someone to Nostr via an app like Primal with built in wallet? (They can then explore and discover NWC etc as they mature in the protocol.)
