The establishment adores him, it's kitsch anti-establishment posturing around very a capable talking points for the establishment, local councils desperately preserve his work. Not only because it's now worth loads and possibly a tourist attraction, but it's a nice cartoon rebellion. I bet a few politicians even have his prints in their home.

I mean you can't blame him for how others treat his work.

He never seemed to be the one who wanted attention. Even going out of his way to avoid it..
