#[3] 's relay spam-free feature is based on the assumption that spammers won't pay 5k sats per pubkey to write events on it.

As soon as a pubkey is sending spam, it gets out of the whitelist.

It doesn't scale to spam from lots of pubkey, as the costs increase.

Of course, but what algo (or who) determines when it "is sending spam" is the crux of my question? Is it posts of a commercial nature? Is it repetitive posting? is it dishonest posting? It is an important question. AFAICT, the definition of spam is solely cameri's determination

That it's not coded in Nostream code.

It will depend on each relay admin and Code of Conduct, I suppose.

Regarding #[3] 's relay, the Terms are on the website: https://eden.nostr.land/invoices

We will see how it's applied as it goes.

It is strange that he can reply to 100 notes but doesn't have the time to answer this question. Obviously a "spammer" won't keep signing up at 5000 sats per crack, but what triggers the spam algo in the first instance?
