Light grey would be better, you want to either stick to your light blues, or a neutral tone, so grey could work. White is better for this kind of outfit though, you really can't go wrong with white.

I have a solid purple tie but don't have the purple jacket already 🤓 I've owned this salmon jacket for a decade or so.
Nothing too flashy for the derby. I'd try a white shirt instead of the yellow tho.
