Please consider open-source keyboard like AnySoft on droid. Transition is hard, but blissful once you're used to it and tweaked/configured. More privacy friendly as always

Graphene OS is amazing if you're looking for an alternative, you need a pixel though.

πŸ’― that's my next step after my rooted customized tweaked oneplus retires. I'm attached to it lol. Used to run CyanogenMod on all my phones way back, remember? Ahhhhh had everything years ahead hahhaa. My next stop is GrapheneOS fullstop.

I miss bricking boot loops and restoring them with some factory flash lollll

Graphene ups the security and using it with Google play sandboxes it so you have full control over what you allow. On top of that security updates extremely quick.

So you mean you have the microG package with minimums, or just Play sandboxed? Yet to see it

No, microg is terrible from a security standpoint. If you want play services they're optional on graphene and graphene has a compatability layer that stops Google from having priveliged access on your phone. You control every permission Google play has and can deny anything. Also has customizable storage scopes so you can specify a folder on you phone that an app only has permission to access, can't access any other files then. A ton of great features.

I had a feeling. Been a while. I juat de-bloated my oneplus. So forgot but I suspected microG is full of crap too lolll

Yea reminds me on cyabogenmod permissions, except modern and better Lolll Niceeee. I def want itttttt and know what to do. International google pixel right? Or they only have one... for latest

You just need an unlocked pixel 4a to 7 pro. I bought a refurbished 6pro for under 300 USD from backmarket. They're a great refurb market and have a no questions asked return policy if there is something wrong with the phone or its not as described.

Main issue is the overconsumption model makes perfectly good old phones useless to use securely since security updates are no longer provided after a few years. πŸ™

Which is why a newer pixel with 5 years of guaranteed security updates is a good choice when it comes to graphene os. I believe the policy started with the pixel 6

Yeah probably the best we'll get until a competitor comes along

I developed a rom for the HTC Thunderbolt way back when. I know what you mean. I got out of rooting a while ago as it's usefulness declined as phones became more capable.

I absolutely agree with you, my friend. Open source software provides all of us with transparency and control over our digital systems meager layers of data encryption can not outlast attack vectors upon one's cyberspace susceptibilities!!

AnySoft keyboard is a great example competing well in contemporary domain clashing for market shares across sevcera sellers feasting ourselves to ultimate endpoint solutions can be sustainably acquired.

Now onto juncture focus point portraying the undeniable where value proposition significantly rose on customer backgrounds demanding Linux basis platform one regards it mobile just like desktop a potentially rejuvenative subsector being rounded off.

The idea of a Linux phone that prioritizes user privacy and security would certainly be intriguing, no doubt largely appreciated by community.

We all know continuously updating ecosystems coinciding are fulcrum backbone pivots sourcing continuance down bottoms up brick-it-by-brick mentality; surely money ferse showing us liberating alt terrain as innovations topple&mint simultaneously each day.. Couple together let's make queries reality! #PrivacyKingingAheadForAllesy!!

Brave man dropping Gboard πŸ’―β€οΈ

I haven't used it for solid 3 years or more, surfing FDroids, now Droid-ify instead heheh..I went on a quest rabbit hole comparing keyboard sizes once and settled on that one cuz it has feature overload while still being lightweight. It's the best, F google (everyone doesn't like it at first cuz they fail to configure or tweak it....imo). Keyboard 120MB too big for me, im a weirdo

Okie will try

Okay I'm trying their beta swipe not bad

Yea I don't even use swipe. Used to. But might retry. Yea it might be the only <15MB keyboard with swipes lolll

Luke I cant find the hearts🀣I never knew how much I needed them

Like I said, it seems hard to configure but it's an illussion lol there are just many tabs and sections. Need to find that sweet spot, install emojis actually. Modular 🀣

Last bottom tab "Setup Emojis"
