My son has been having a rough time lately. Nothing atypical, just finding his own way. Testing boundaries and making bad choices. He’s been a little sad.

I took him for a walk yesterday. We don’t say much. We walk, listen, observe each other and smile. We came across this big guy and sat and watched him for 30 minutes. I told him, that it’s okay to be sad and lonely but to remember to keep his eyes open and listen, as there will always be a world here to love him. https://nostr.build/av/c68c9cd2ba5a064d6e668c6f65061494ebf3602669af84fe96d1f63a1d5698a1.mov

😔 hope he finds his way.

Thanks. I’m sure he will. We are slowly figuring him out. It will be tougher for him now, just because of who he is and what his personality is like. But we hope these traits will lead to success in adulthood.

Nature always delivers when you need it. Beautiful story, you're a great #plebdad. 🫂💜

Thanks GUI. I believe you are right. The world has a way of teaching us things. It’s just a matter of finding the time to stop, sit, look and listen.

You're a good dad.

Thanks Bryan, but I’m not really. I’m just trying to break the cycle and be a little less shitty, than a long line shitty fathers. 🫂💜

PS - I just gave my son your zap. He was over the moon 😁💜🫂.

Beautiful. Presence for the win.

Thank you Angela.

That’s good advice! I would love to tell that to my son, if I had a son, or if I will have one, or can have one; one day I can just tell it to my ChatXYZ ai

😁 We can always tell it to ourselves.
