I had to charge my phone battery 3 times today 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Discussion
My kids think it’s funny as shit🤨…I’ve fussed for years over how anyone can drain their batteries 3 times a day😳🤷🏽♂️😂
I miss being able to change out my phone battery. This was like peak phone usability.
Me too. The battery being depleted wasn’t a good reason to replace the whole phone. You could just replace the battery. Have an extra one at home…
I had to get a new phone because I microwaved my iPhone 12
Did it explode in there? 👀
Naw wasn't in there long, just sizzled a little.
How did it get in there? Were you lacking some sleep?
During periods of high stress, sometimes I sleep walk. I thought I was warming a bag of frozen milk for my son. Considering we don't warm the milk that way, I fucked up twice. Once in my dream and simultaneously in reality. Luckily my wife came in from the garage and was like "wtf are you doing" and i quickly stopped the micro. It felt kind of good to be without a phone for 18 hours or so.
Good thing it didn’t explode in there. And good thing your wife caught the situation in time 🫂
Ya no doubt, could have been a disaster with those fucking lithium bombs in there.
I can’t imagine having to deal with sleep walking. Is there anyway to stop it? Seems so dangerous
Pretty sure I stop it by getting my shit together. But yes, its incredibly distressing to find myself completely out of control in the middle of the night and watching my perceived reality reconstitute itself in real time to accord with actual reality. I've never done anything bad but it doesn't feel good.
Are you semi conscious? Or not at all? Is it like dreaming?
It's like dreaming, but then the memory of the actions/perceptions in the dream get retroactively aligned with the last few seconds of whatever I was doing in real life.
Why do they say not to wake someone while sleep walking?
I don't know, but those people are stupid. If we all get together and I'm sleep walking and about to piss in the oven (never happened but it could) please wake me the fuck up.
There’s a privacy phone called the librem that lets you change out the battery
That’s smart.
Now Apple lets you replace it for a fee. But I feel like replaceable is better. Especially if the battery gets warm or expands and then damages the phone components
I didn’t know they let you replace it for free? How many times do they allow that?
