Depends on what you're looking for.

I thought of 'broken money' as a very good starter book to gift. It manages to make a strong case for why bitcoin, while avoiding deeper concepts that normies won't want to read about.

"What has government done to our money" - Murry Rothbard

The Sovereign Individual

The Fiat Standard

“The Bullish Case for Bitcoin” takes you from zero to hero in about a 2hr audio book

Also “The Mandibles” is just so great

Different books depending on the initial lens people are coming at it from. But lately I've recommend one of these:

Bitcoin Standard

Gradually then Suddenly

The Bullish Case for Bitcoin

A Progressives Case for Bitcoin

The Fiat Standard

The way of the superior man

Well it's not totally bitcoin but Broken Money is my favorite.

Saifedean's Principles of Economics as an entry door to Austrian Economics. From there choose your fighter: Pope, Rothbard, Mises, Hayek etc.

Best Bitcoin book it's not about Bitcoin

"In about 32,000 lines of code, Satoshi Nakamoto embedded the potential to displace the stabilizers’ monetary dogma that had influenced the dominant Keynesian and Monetarist monetary theories for almost a century." - The Genesis Book by Aaron van Wirdum; this is a brilliant book, very entertaining and hugely insightful
