Why is it that 90% of brats, sausages, and hot dogs have corn syrup in it and usually the 2nd, or third ingredient 🤢… I wish I could learn to and make my own brats, but I really don’t have the time… long story short, when the closest Kroger to me has these Rinaldi brand sausages (maybe once or twice every few months), I buy as many packs as I can… I sent them a email to see if I could just order some direct. #realfood

Sugar is generally required when curing meats. Unfortunately, most companies use corn syrup instead.

I guess that makes sense… corn syrup is cheaper, so they use cheap garbage to do it
