Nihilism is a conscious choice, like joy. It is easy when one is young and striving to ask what is the point of this cray cray hamster wheel. And when one is old like me and Kingbee, the same question can apply. Yet, today we awoke feeling good enough to dress ourselves, move freely, gaze into one another’s eyes, find joy in our beehives and bird feeders, discharge our customers with grace and satisfaction, and to open #nostr to find this glorious community of vastly different, sovereign, quality humanity. The world may burn in tatters around us (apparently), very unlike the world of our youth/expectations, but signs of abundant life are there if we seek, and focus on it.

Sure, I see my children and it gives me hope and optimism about the legacy I'll leave behind. I'm extremely bullish on the capabilities of decentralised tech. When I stack a sat, I understand it's my energy protected. I don't believe I'm nihilist, I don't however want to pretend that the shit around me isn't happening. It makes me angry, and deeply sad. I think they're natural emotions to feel towards rot that is so blatant.
