Nice! Does your mom talk about her experience at all?
I will probably make another post once I've gathered all my thoughts on the experienceπ

I was birthed in the bath, caught by my papaπ
Mum always made it sound so smooth I grew up with 0 fear of childbirth (despite going through an ob-gyn medical drama phase), so I'm more scared about pregnancy than the birth itself lol
Interesting! I thought my pregnancy was super easy. The birth was a bit harder but way smoother than anyone I know who's given birth in a hospital.
Why are you more scared of pregnancy?
I just feel like pregnancy is 9 months of anxiety and praying nothing goes wrong π« the idea of another person sitting inside of kind of freaks me out tooπ«
My mom told me she pooped me out. I believed her for a long while until I read the literature.
I honestly forgot I was pregnant until month 7. That's when I started to show.
Your body does a good job of protecting baby if everything is in order. It was a little weird when baby started kicking, but it became a kind of game π I would poke back.
write it soon! it is really crazy how fast the memory of childbirth fades. In the time right after it feels so life changing and that you'd never forget it but for some reason it does.
Maybe it doesn't happen to everyone but it did for me. I regret not journaling more about it in the early days.
I have been trying to! When I get a chance to write.
I think that happens as a survival mechanism. If it was hard we forget just how hard so we are likely to do it again.

Like I always choose economy on flights and immediately regret it after because "it wasn't that bad last time" π yes it was!
