A story of two Bitcoiner friends.

Friend one called me and told me he was selling his GBTC position at 24k with a -50% discount. Effectively selling 12k bitcoin.

Friend two called me and wanted me to check his thinking. He was contemplating going heavy GBTC during the same time period. We spent an hour on the phone and talked through the situation. Ultimately he decided to ape in.

A year and a half later one is up tremendously and the other is down horrendously.

Both smart, rich and ivy league educated. The only thing that separates them is temperament.

My second friend has emotional control and my first friend doesn’t.

I’m just a dumb state school graduate, but what’s with these ivy leaguers trading GBTC instead of holding the real asset? 🤙

They have retirement accounts

I'm curious...did one friend have college educated parents and the other parents blue collar? I have noticed that the more "educated" the parents of my college educated friends, the least likely they are to being open to Bitcoin. Essentially, one group had an extra generation of indoctrination by the grifter class.

Strong observation.

Friend one had college educated parents.

I believe friend two’s parents were working class.

Too bad neither of them own any bitcoin

I have been both your friends, multiple times. Been rekt before.

you didn't mention any bitcoiners...

What the fuck is GBTC and what's that got to do with Bitcoin 🤣
