Just a brief glance...
Previously formed opinions are the idea of the BRICS trying to coordinate a currency:
Literal Orient Express situation, where USD is the guy thats murdered.
except how in the world is the ragtag crew that hate each other going to refrain from
A race to the bottom to debase each other's currencies
How much honor is there among thieves. If they all have central banks
Honor? Among bankers? 😂 I don't think there is honor there...
What i have understand so far, i think, is that they want to make a payment system among each other. The important detail, i think, is against what they are going to evaluate or devaluate their currencies. That is the reason about talks for brics currency, because a thought was to evaluate it against resources or something. Previously their currencies were evaluated comparing with the dollar, right? Now what?
It will be
BricPay Inflation rate = weighted average of each country currency inflation + inflation tax for BricPayTM
BricPayTM will be secret society consisting of a couple people from each country. It will start small, but slowly snowball as they have to pay more and more people to keep quiet or have positive opinions about BricPay and slowly increase BricPay Inflation Tax.
I'm just joking. It does seem silly that the biggest tech problem is just a trust issue.
I wonder how many BricPay tokens they will require each country to buy to establish the stock to flow ratio.
Whoever goes first will risk getting rugged.
The countries will have to choose whether to buy BricPay tokens or some other asset for their balance sheet.
Ah, i am sure they will diversify somehow to have some guarantee for balance. Would it be commodities, metals, precious stones, energy, who knows...
In general it is an interesting project. They have to be really careful. I have heard that Nabulina, the finance minister if Russia, got the heavy duty for all of this and she is indeed careful, but we will see...
and it's already solved with bitcoin
Yeah, they would have to go through the pain of watching the market cap slowly grow big enough to enable meaningful size transactions. Just like Bitcoin is growing right now.
And they would have to trust that none of the parties would lose faith along the way and dump their tokens.
At any point the winning move for any one of the countries would be to sell BricPay tokens and buy Bitcoin.
on the top of shitcoins, as it seems

Yeah these shitcoins have a technology that is very fast for transactions between banks. This is known for years. Other banks looked at them too. I don't remember something about fees though...
ye, "bankster coin" since ever. they've been talking about a substitute system for swift since 2016, 2017. ripple's CEO, brad garlinghouse, is christine lagarde's pet. fees are virtually inexistent, just like lightning. ofc, nonexistent for the banks themselves, I doubt they won't take the chance to profit even more.
Maybe not. In Singapore the customers don't pay fees. But we will see...
they'll profit shitloads of money anyways as they got the centralized supply. banks have been buying that shit for pennies since always. once it breaks ATH, new trillionaires on the block.
and the next step will be the return to the gold standard, gold pegged token. then, commodities. shitshow will be endless.
in short: it will change everything indeed. for the worst.
Shitshow will be endless yes.
There might be one good thing though in all of this. We may get rid of the globalists and their agenda
lmao, come here, gimme a hug. schwab loves the chinese model, fan #1. lagarde, remember? the whole europe union and asia and UK et al are already members of AIIB. nothing but a shitshow. the same shitshow, now digital and tokenized. same players, different name. same old good economic blocks based system in the neoliberal globalist wild world shitshow.
Yeah. We are not going to avoid this shitshow unfortunately and yes it will have extra shit due to digitalisation.
What i am talking about though is about the difference between the industrialist capitalists and the stock exchange market capitalists. These two factions have different agendas. The first faction might ver well like borders. The second hate borders. Very different situation.
In other words, Marx told that industrialists will prevail. After Reganomics and the fall of soviet union, the stock market exchange and international banker capitalists thought they won forever and the history is theirs and that Marx was wrong. Yet in Ukraine they are losing by the industrialists who produce (Russia, China etc). Yes simple citizens like me will have to deal with shity oligarchs either way, but it is not the same, there is a difference and i think we should be aware of this. Local oligarchs are easier to overthroned i think 😀
I wish I could be so optimistic. but, as every good shitshow, it's all just a performance. they can't implement a change overnight, so they create situations, excuses, narratives, even if it costs lives, to justify this change. imho, industrial capitalism, market capitalism, will all end up as surveillance capitalism and stakeholder statism. industries will be robotized, automated, just like marx also predicted. maybe that's why they make sure to hide his last writings, of his late anarchist phase, and schwab has a lenin bust in his office. not only to justify but also to conquer sympathy, create the sensation of hope and consequent approval from those who previously resisted. in the end, it's all about interoperability between economic blocks, between brics and the EU and mercosul and nafta and back to brics. of course, the US State weakens a bit, but it doesn't lose power. the field levels between the US and china. north american billionaires, however, will become trillionaires. while north american plebs will have the same future as singaporean plebs: surveillance, control, and submission. that good old story of ww2: same banksters sponsoring both sides, win-win game.
btw, great book.
Yes this can very well be the case, exactly as you described it.
We have to push otherwise of course, if and when we can. But we have to be aware of the 'choices' first.
fugere urbem, the only choice we have, I'm afraid. at least to try any kinda resistance.
I have done this already. It is some kind of relief indeed. Worth the effort in my opinion. Far from a complete solution though. Authority's devastating tentacles can reach rural areas too.
not only can, they will. that's why I've put emphasis on "try" haha better any hope than none at all.
