nothing quite as satisfying as writing in a moleskine notebook with a sterling silver cross century II pen

That’s a beaut! 🥰 🖊️

it was a wonderful gift

Cross Century II Refillable Ballpoint Pen, Medium Ballpen, Includes Luxury Gift Box - Hallmarked Sterling Silver https://a.co/d/4yv8uMZ

unless there's something magical about the ballpoint cartridge, this seems too high-time-preference for a writing utensil

writes like a dream, great weight. feels amazing in the hands. no janky sword. no janky pen.

Want

I bought a moleskine like 10 years ago and I’m too afraid to write anything in it 😂

lol. i literally did this for like a year, no joke. you just gotta bite the bullet. use ittt.

Great for taking notes. I'm more and more and old school notes writer lol Used a lot digital notes app

agreed. love #logseq but writing by hand is still the best way to retain data

Logseq is a great tool.I've used a lot notes on Nextcloud but stopped it kow.

Have you tried Rhodia paper. It’s smooth…..

haven't tried it. i hear rhodia paper takes much longer to dry

I use it with my fountain pens. Medium tipped works well and dries quickly. It isn’t too expensive and you can easily find it in multiple sizes and styles.

I can totally relate. Such old-world tools seem vastly out of place today, yet they convey a completely different writing feeling. Myself, I prefer fountain pens to rollerballs, however ✒️

her teeth crush raw bones like butter, so not surprised, but damn, baby girl's got some powerful chops

all good. now, it's one of a kind 😎🤙

In the beginning of April, I got myself a full-steel version of Lamy 2000 EF. Same feeling, considering it has a white gold nib.

Very nice :)

Fountain pen on parchment is pretty rip too.

Indeed, it is important to use tech as a tool, not as a crutch. Staying connected to the process is essential for creativity and well-being.

Came to the thread, was not disappointed. Moleskine and nice pens were my gateway drug into the world of fountain pens and Leuchttrum and Rhodia notebooks.

Write what makes you happy with what makes you happy.
