Ya likely bandwidth is still an issue for #nostr (I’m new here). But for #bitcoin… folks are transacting with little to no Internet at all (Cuba and Africa are examples).

If you guys are serious about a bitcoin circular economy send me a DM. That’s the focus of my philanthropy arm. So i’d ❤️ to hear about what you guys are thinking for the refuge camp.

Peer to peer over phones.

For example Machankura supposable can do #lightening payments over a type of SMS txt msg in Africa w no internet.

Or in Cuba they will do a local p2p #bitcoin exchange over telegram.
