A large number of normies like sticking their heads in the sand. They don't think of their beliefs as that, of course, but the anxiety they have from the contradictions of conventional wisdom, show that they are, indeed, ignoring the obvious dangers.

We'll hire them after the dust settles and pay them in bitcoin.
Over the past 4 years, it has slowly become impossible to have a conversation with my normie friends. The gap has widened so much that it has become too difficult to have a common ground.
I am giving up on them and it's not fun because we used to be friends.
Interesting thought. Wifey and I have been discussing this in relation to a variety of aspects of both church and homeschooling communities we’re involved in. Yes, we have close friends from both groups who aren’t this way, but there are too many people who still ARE, despite 4yrs of utter insanity around the world. They just refuse to take a stand! (and for those who are already grandparents… yikes! the results of all their adult lives lived this way is sometimes truly horrific in what’s happened in their progeny’s lives)
Wise words, Jimmy
