Bitcoin doesn't need governments or politicians. However, it's interesting that we're now a sought after demographic.

Bitcoin is a physical power projection technology and creates a new strategic Schelling point. Adapt or die. Cooperate or die.
This is something that I think works better in the American voting system than the Australian one. The voices of people outside of the mainstream views seem more powerful.
In the US if the election is close you have to win votes off people who may otherwise not vote at all or potentially vote for a third party.
In Australia politicians do not need to seek the vote of people on the fringe as everyone is required to vote and due to our preferencial voting system we are all forced to vote for a major party at some point on the ballot.
Around April 2023 I was sitting at a brewery having a beer with nostr:nprofile1qqs2wguqtndxwfg3j8y8sm6d5k8hjlnfwavzxqf4fw5wjx7tqdpde8qpr9mhxue69uhhqatjv9mxjerp9ehx7um5wghxcctwvsq3samnwvaz7tmjv4kxz7fwd4hk6mmnw3ezuurfde4sz9thwden5te0v4jx2m3wdehhxarj9ekxzmnyvash6x and he told me that he believed that this coming election cycle that we'd see Bitcoin as an issue. I told him it was too early, that 2028 was probably more accurate. Wow. Was I wrong!
Very interesting that we are sought after vote now considering Bitcoiners have been ignored and ridiculed mercilessly for years. I hope bitcoiners see through the bullshit coming from these new minted supporters of Bitcoin..
This.
We have power to change election results. 🔥
