I got a question for you nostr

actually two of them

1. if you're mining with a BitAxe, how would you know if you hit a block

(other than the coinbase transaction g

flowing into your connected wallet)

2. if you happen to hit a block with a BitAxe, who gets to design the block template for you?

coinbase?

afaik you can chose the pool you like, even to mine solo and the details of the wallet will be on your own control...

1. I'llet you know when i hit the mining lottery

2. That would depend on what pool you have your hash power pointed at or you could run your own instance of stratum and design your own templates

You connect the miner to a pool, but I think many people connect it to a software called solominer (I think).

Here you configure the template creation and everything. Maybe it can also be configured to notify you.

Sorry, not a very confident or fully informed answer. I haven't got one yet.

Commenting to see the responses.

Unfortunately I can't find it, but I saw an image a few weeks ago somebody shared of their Bitaxe display showing a little message saying they hit a block but it was only testnet, so I think it would show a message?

And could be mistaken but i believe the block template is automatically configured via the software

Great questions. I’ve been wondering how I’d know if I hit a block
