Isn't that what most people do? I know that my landlord had a mortgage on the apartment building I was living in while I was living there.
It is what most landlords do. I dont think banks giving out mortgages should allow the renter to pay off their mortgage for the landlord. You should only be allowed to rent out something you fully own.
