Steve praises the strategy of the late Reverend Billy Graham in trying to avoid the sin of adultery as defined by Christ (merely looking at a woman with lust in your heart). Apparently, Graham would always avert his eyes when in the presence of an attractive woman.

I can't imagine that this strategy had a positive impact on the women who had to interact with Graham, especially if he left them unaware of his reason for avoiding eye contact.

In any case, praise God that Billy Graham became a pastor and not a Secret Service agent. Otherwise, we might have ended up with Nelson Rockefeller as the 39th President. 🤣

Yeah many women have said they feel dehumanized by men refusing to look at them at all. It’s much better to just treat attractive women just like you would treat anyone else. It’s perfectly okay to notice beauty and praise the creator of that beauty. Doesn’t have to turn into ogling or lust.
