curious if prompt engineering will be part of the education system in 10 years or so, with the amount of work AI can do for us, given the right prompt ๐Ÿค”

#ai #prompt #school

Just going to # that there for prosperity reasons. ๐Ÿซ‚๐ŸŒŽ๐Ÿค™๐Ÿผ

Would be curious taking into account that coding is something that is not very widespread in the educational system

well low-quality coders will mostly be replaced by AI, and itโ€™ll just end up being software engineering, with humans asking the โ€œwhy?โ€ and โ€œhow?โ€

Defo

Great question.

How about a human facing AI that takes simple instructions and converts them into fancy prompts for another AI?

Itโ€™s already happening certain schools are teaching prompt engineering in their curriculum so that they donโ€™t stay behind

most of the graduates are already being asked by employers if they know how to prompt

I donโ€™t think thatโ€™s really true on a general basic, and youโ€™re talking about a really niche example ๐Ÿค”

might be totally wrong here ๐Ÿ’œ

Definitely totally wrong but Iโ€™m willing to teach you why ๐Ÿซก also general basic together doesnโ€™t mean anything you could/should expand on that

also whatโ€™s the general niche example u think Iโ€™m referring to

really niche in terms of the job interviews where prompting is mentioned

odds are, youโ€™ll hear about prompting here once or twice max from 10,000 interviews here

not a thing in schools yet

not a thing in interviews or average job environment

tanel do remember if this is just based on ur experience ur right the country you live in does none of these things

but pls expand ur research to outside of ur country

you said โ€œmost of the graduatesโ€ in general

still accurate if u take into account ur countries graduates account for less than 1% of global graduates right, just saying expend the research

so over 51% of graduates are being asked about their prompting in skills?

0.05% seems more likely tbh

why are u so bearish ๐Ÿคฃ itโ€™s literally almost everywhere, if youโ€™re graduating as a technician, developer, computer science, whatever technical role you wanna think about, most companies have been and are using ML n Ai, itโ€™s not some futuristic thing bro itโ€™s literally here right now n you interact with many services day in n day out that utilize it without your knowing

havenโ€™t stated my take on it once, how am i being bearish? ๐Ÿค”

you said most of the graduates, meaning all the graduates regardless of their degree.

even if it was engineering, iโ€™d still argue itโ€™s closer to 0.5-1% from gut feeling of the job market

iโ€™m just trying to understand why youโ€™re so bullish

you do realise how incredibly advanced america is in terms technology and ai compared to most of the world?

bc I literally watch interviews and talks on this same exact topic every other day.. so yea not 0.5-1% lol

Also Most (a large majority) prob wasnโ€™t the best use of word doesnโ€™t mean all, but it does mean a large majority which isnโ€™t likely currently so I will say itโ€™s closer to moderate

Drugs are bad, mmmkay

Good songs sung flat

every hundredth graduate going for an interview getting asked about prompting is incredibly bullish already

idk man, really donโ€™t understand the bullishness ๐Ÿค” doesnโ€™t sound realistic to me at all

Itโ€™s the difference between getting a 1x dev and a 10x dev

If you canโ€™t prompt I wonโ€™t hire you

Iโ€™ll hire the guy that can cause heโ€™s the 10x dev (meaning he (1 person) can do the job of 10 other devs)

working for an AI company, for sure seems rational to be incredibly bullish and adoptive when it comes to interviews like these.

an average company doesnโ€™t have any idea about prompting, nor do they know enough to even ask

maybe iโ€™m delusional ๐Ÿค”

u rlly are brother holy shit lol Ai companies arenโ€™t the only ones that thrive off having 10x devs.. literally every company in the world will thrive off 1 individual being able to do 10x

one example I can give you of a company that isnโ€™t an Ai company but has been using ML since early days is nostr:npub1cashappn03s3cl2ljsdntv0v28e2um5lgx4vjctqjt23pcwzjhsqmtdg5l , nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m can tell you himself

Youโ€™re mostly talking America only examples. You really think this is happening in Russia, South America, India and Africa at the rate that it is in America?

ima need you to just use YouTube yourself this time around and add the country you wanna see next to Ai + School + ______

Here is UAE https://youtu.be/7devgjUP2pY?si=7SqPGGM5jtX1akHz

Africa https://youtu.be/zfK33HZusD0?si=WjlHi2y-x_SbenTP

India https://youtu.be/0Ml8pOaqLBw?si=6I0RyTpdgWB2fbxH

is it the future? absolutely

the popularity you claim it to have in the present moment in education and work culture? disagree

weโ€™re not gonna agree on this one bud, and itโ€™s okay man ๐Ÿ’œ

Nah, but nostr:npub1jk9h2jsa8hjmtm9qlcca942473gnyhuynz5rmgve0dlu6hpeazxqc3lqz7 is right.

Full out documentation and multiple references and use cases, for as many platforms as possible.

Imma get to it as soon as possible.

Should be fully open sourced to have community support and feedback. After all, such a complex sphere of relevance.

๐ŸŽš๏ธ

There is only a tiny obstacle that perhaps the community can help with to get it done right.

Now that the community appears to have taken the time to rodent about.

Causalities, right?!

Now is not a good time to be ambiguous and having margins fรถr questions, like cnnโ€™s archives and in store cctv with exceptional audio quality to be tangled up with those incomplete parties.

just watched the UAE one, nothing to prove your point ๐Ÿค”

Ai in schools in the Middle East

tanel Iโ€™m not here to try n convince u buddy I gave u enough info n references for you to watch n make ur mind, you watched 2 mins n become an expert lolll

letโ€™s leave it at that this isnโ€™t going anywhere, we donโ€™t consume the same information day in day out.

i am going through each one of them right now, wdym?

none have supported any of your arguments yet, show me a clear cut research that proves your point, thatโ€™s all Iโ€™m asking for ๐Ÿค”

Chemo, is that an argument?

If the towering star and flat earth ainโ€™t convincing.

Closed minds donโ€™t learn bro u know this

thereโ€™s over 2-3hrs of info for you to listen through so take your time

like you said weโ€™re not gonna agree on this one

How many cores are the new ones running on?

๐Ÿคญ

If looking to slim faster

My sonโ€™s school is starting to ban this now, but honestly how can they police this?

what for? ๐Ÿค”

Do you mean why are they banning it?

yeah, exactly ๐Ÿ’œ

๐Ÿชช

So, moving.

Cause all assignments can be written with ChatGBT.

Some of the teachers now have an AI reader which can pick up if an assignment has been written by AI or human?

My son was very concerned about this last week, since one of his assignments came through as 90% written by AI, even though he wrote it himself(I was with his at home when he did this)!

education is falling behind technology once again, and instead of applying it with the studies involved, they try to ban it, only slowing down the education of kids

be supportive of him using it, not using it will make him fall behind

itโ€™d be like forbidding a student to use Google for searching back in the day

The teachers are โ€˜failingโ€™ the students that any assessment/assignment comes up with over 80% written by AI. Itโ€™s a worry since most do the right thing, but it also questions how accurate are these AI pick up that the teachers are using?

Thereโ€™s the right time and place for ChatGPT application, itโ€™s gonna be really interesting to see how much of the schools will want to force a more traditional education and which ones want to future-proof the kids ๐Ÿค”

Itโ€™s a fucking engineering marvel

Bingo.

Most teachers will be rendered obsolete in the very near future. Which will alleviate the bottleneck of too many teachers, too few positions.

But they (at least in the West, North America) are still going through the motions and focusing on indoctrinating/re-educating and directing evolution in formative years of children. And not focusing on where it seems the world is inevitably and obviously heading.

Fractured. Enslaved vs free.

Very different populations are going to be a result, and the conclusion is going to be extremely telling. El Salvador is ahead of the curve, preparing their people for a new world. Teaching teachers BTC, who will then educate children - free from social anxieties, political perversion, etc - in turn.

We've been listening to puppets, with room temperature IQ the entire time, and being negatively reinforced against critically thinking. I use deconstructive methods. Seems best suited for the times, and works like a charm.

Which inevitably leads me to one feeling, very frightened that the herd certainly don't know - at all - what side of the glass they are on and how modern day parents' overwhelming, collective lack of acknowledgement that they have tacitly (whether knowingly or not) signed off ownership and guardianship of their own children in some cases to the State/system.

Might the future definition of educational success need different parameters? There is no point in memorizing anything in our present age. Vast databases are at our fingertips, the limiting factors are intelligent aggregation of facts and resources. Utilize AI effectively to best your peers? A+! Aggregate fifty sources by plagiarizing to present a substantiated point? A+! I never substantiate my conclusions with references. The resources are everywhere, prove me right, prove me wrong, just do something and letโ€™s talk about it. ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm kinda amused that the worst part of school is now fully automatable. I would have got into my CS degree if I had AIs to placate the tyrannical english teachers who didn't teach a stick of grammar after junior highschool. I could even touch type at the time but it was just a big NO I'm not writing yet another idiotic screed to have my views on things criticised by a pompous twat who wasn't even competent enough to get a real job writing.

There is a prompt for prompting, but there are nuances that are advanced when prompts are applied. So as the model evolves for โ€œsafetyโ€ reasons, for example, the prompts will need to evolve in order to hack the full capabilities of the model.

I hate to sound like a dum -dum , but what is prompt engineering? Is that where you train an AI to do something , or something along those lines ?

nostr:npub1jk9h2jsa8hjmtm9qlcca942473gnyhuynz5rmgve0dlu6hpeazxqc3lqz7 would know better than me to explain ๐Ÿค” the best I can give you is an explanation from Google

Heeyyy Sรฉimรญ! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿค™

Hey Eshara , what's happening.

Nothing much, just looking up sales numbers, what about you? ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿค™

it's just a trend, long-term not a thing, there won't be people still doing prompt engineering in 10 years time ... what for?

huh, curious how you see the whole ai thing going in terms of education and work culture

in 10 years the servant will have become the master, i guess, there won't be much human support needed other than explaining problems to ai ... i mean, who needs much education for using a search engine? using ai will become a daily routine like google search imo

๐Ÿค” yeah, that could be the case
