*Too bad, someone published it on NOSTR

*on a publicly readable relay

To be extra correct here 🙈

Right 😂 And it only takes one person subscribing and resharing something publicly to break the perceived benefit/protection of paywalling it. At that point subscribers are merely those who like your content enough to support you anyway, which is the essence of v4v. The difference is that paywalling decreases the reach of your content, your voice, whereas v4v increases it. As an artist I want more people, not fewer, to see/hear my stuff. This doesn’t mean we do everything for free. It just means we recognize the nature of content distributed in digital formats and so we find ways to monetize it that work with its nature, rather than trying to impose artificial limitations on it.

Yup 💯

Do you have merch btw? #notkidding

I do not 😂 A couple people have suggested I should make a meme book. The idea itself humors me 🤣

Oh is that corndolars coffee table book? His work is so stealable right now.

You get memes. And you get memes. And you get memes! 🙌

Are you telling me there are people out there buying même books

🤷‍♂️🤣

I need a LEGO set for my kids.

They already have construction sites, farms, etc...

But they keep asking for a Meme Studio set.

And then got zapped for bringing the value ⚡️

To me, this is the n°1 way to get creators here.

There's nothing like seeing other people make money with your content.

I’ve thought about this… maybe we should create something like an escrow for this stuff. Pick a creator and mirror their account. Any zaps to their content will be held for them and released to them if they join and start posting after a probationary period.

You can escrow it to my lightning address 😎😏

I too volunteer as tribute

🤣🤣

We can hodl it together if that makes them feel safer 🙈

You can trust me. I’m a memer 🤣

😂 I was thinking it should go towards a content creator fund or to devs for creating tools for creators. Something like that.

That's what I thought first too.

With #cashu you can even mail/DM it to them directly (and maybe even somehow prove it).

But 'm starting to prefer them literally missing out on it 👉 Stronger signal, more urgent
