Yeah so I was screamed at by a 50 year old man today that was insisting Charlie Kirk is a Nazi. I asked why he thought so and he provided his “proof” two photos showing a lightning bolt American flag symbol behind Charlie and then the SS Nazi symbol. There is no point in arguing. This is unfortunately someone I won’t be able to avoid at all times. I just tried to change the subject.

He then said if “they” were smart, they would pick off the Supreme Court members. Just casual Nazi accusations and incitations of terrorism on a Sunday afternoon… I honestly was not prepared, it was worse than the stuff circulating online with zero self awareness. What the actual fuck.

there is nothing to respond to - how do you respond to a child that is reacting to its emotions? rational discourse is not only a waste of time, it just makes the situation worse...disengage and move on - children in adult bodies are at best a waste of my time, and at worst, a physical threat -

I had a similar experience recently. I had to walk away from a liberal 1960’s hippie woman, who was screaming about more people who should be killed. She was saying all the talking points, and on top of that, saying it’s all over because of climate change.

She insisted the world was “Over”.

I told her that was, IMO, the most miserable and hopeless way to live, and that I will fight anyone whose main goal is to convince me of being pessimistic about the future.

This mindset has destroyed everything, killed and prevented many children’s lives, and is the result of massive propaganda, LSD, and collective delusion of what “Love and Kindness “ really means.

I feel your pain. I had to walk away, because I’m not sure there was hope of her ever listening to a different opinion.
