I always find it strange when couples choose to be apart, especially for long periods.
I know it's not by choice in this instance, but I know so many couples who do choose to do it, which makes me question their decision to be together in the first place haha.
Different strokes for different folks tho I suppose.
I'm sorry for your friend's situation, but am sure they will find a way, or be all the more in love when they reunite after their forced time apart ❤️
Yeah, I have a hard time getting that too. I have learned that there are different types of marriages, and one type I think is called missional, and they basically do their own things and then come together at times.
That wouldn't work for me, cause I'm a high quality time person.

Yeah we're the same. To the point of getting ridiculed sometimes. The nicest reaction is some version of a patronising "aww you guys are so cute" but whatever, so be it hahaha.
It wouldn't work for us otherwise. Sounds like we're as lucky as you and your husband. We've found someone compatible who we also happen to love dearly and enjoy spending time with, and everyone else is just jealous 🤣

Shortly before I met my husband IIstated that I wanted to be in such a couple that causes people to think that "the One" is a thing.
The One is not real, a good marriage takes work, but is totally worth it!
I like that our marriage can inspire people to know that it is possible to actually have an amazing marriage, especially in the current culture!
