People THINK Republicans are better for the economy, so when a Republican is President they ACT like the economy is better by spending money. And because they FEEL the economy is better, it inspires a sense of optimism that MAKES the economy better.

I think it's more a matter of companies being able to reliably predict lower or favorable regulations, so they feel more comfortable opening up positions, investing in R&D, and taking on debt.
Democrats and Republucans affect one of those things hat the entire economy depends on ... oil ... Price goes up, economy crashes. Price goes down, economy booms.
There are other things, such as interest rates, printing money, and scamdemics, but oil prices seem to be one of the most consistent factors.
