I worry about not getting into those hardware or thumb drives. I was forced to reformat my flash drives a few times.
Keep your 12/24 word on steel somewhere, can always backup anything with that. Bitcoin designed HW wallets last years and typically don’t need a reformat. They also provide a digital chip backup if your wallet fails. I have 2 different vendor HW wallets and a metal backup for my main wallet(s). All well hidden and distributed of course :)
