probably a bit too early for me... since i just squashed one bug today after a month of nothing in my nostr library https://mleku.dev/git/nostr
i need to finish the final milestone of my current funded project https://github.com/Hubmakerlabs/replicatr - which will provide several important bits of polish mainly relating to search indexes and database size management, and once i'm done, probably for fun will add a little more documentation to everything including how to build your own distributed back end framework for the event store
in my spare time i'm working on something that is going to go under the banner `burbl.chat` - yes i already secured the domain, and its primary thrust is towards supporting secure and private DM and community chat systems, we have all the microblog and long form stuff but other than blowater there is NOTHING with chat and certainly nothing that strives to achieve privacy and this is something that i can do better because i'm integrating my two streams of work together, a chat client and a relay
long term i want to do something about improving the privacy, NIP-44 is a badly specified, under-performing attempt to reduce metadata leaking but it is premature without NIP-42 being properly driven home to all the nostr client devs (they get all squirmy and evasive when i jab them about it) as i have had a very long and enduring thing with internet chat systems and it feels like a good specialisation for me
by the time i come to making an application there will already be a multi platform MVP DM client and a fully NIP-42 and NIP44 enabled relay behind me
anyhow, on with the work! i may yet find other ways to fund this anyhow

what i don't understand is nostr just runs dispatch with ai on top of delivery highways which already exist: ai accesses it regardless so then is the only reason for nostr a secondary means for human bounty to dispatch for free across existing networks? a way of "seeing" ai model? i said this originally when jack disappeared january 2023 after joining the nostr train hobo brigade no doubt to keep an eye on their predatory mining. of course he didn't listen to me....
