Some level of charity is necessary.

The point is, even if it was all white people, I would be against the policy.
My objection is not race related.
Charity should be voluntary.
Federal government should be the minimum as spelled out in the constitution, and there’s no charity listed.
The “promote the general welfare” clause has been stretched too far.
You can believe in meritocracy all you want.
You can believe what charity “should” be all you want.
You can believe what the federal government “should” be all you want.
It isn’t going to change what these groups believe one iota.
